Senior Contracts Manager

As a Senior Contracts Manager you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. In this role, the Senior Contracts Manager will support DoW Customers, you will be trusted to manage and resolve actions timely. HOW A SENIOR CONTRACTS MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:Manages contracts administratorsManages the negotiation and administration of assigned contracts, ensuring contractual compliance with relevant terms and conditionsNegotiates contracts, including price, terms and conditions, and reviews contractual documents for legal sufficiency prior to executionEnsures internal contractual compliance with relevant terms and conditions and compliance with designated management objectivesServes as point of contact with internal departments concerning specific contract questions, issues, and problems WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED:Education: Bachelors degree. In lieu of degree, 9+ years of related contracts administration experience required.Experience: 5+ years of related contracts administration experienceRequired Technical Skills: Microsoft Office Suite Required Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, terms, conditions, and policies governing assigned including FAR and DFAR. Effective administrative, organizational, and communication skills. Understanding of business acumen. Previous leadership experience. Preferred Skills and Abilities: Professional certification (e.g., CPCM/CFCM). 5-10 years of related contracts management experience.Security clearance level: Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance Location: This position requires to work in our GDIT facility in either Falls Church, VA or Chesapeake, VA.
